Week 1 [Day 1-Day 3]

[After a long stressful day like this has been, maybe you want to curl up in bed and try to sleep this whole thing off, or maybe you stay up all night desperately trying to find a way out of this town. Whether it be asking the cops for help, trying to steal a car, or just simply trying to walk out of town, you will unfortunately find your attempts to escape fruitless.

Even with it being obvious something strange is going on, no one has shown their face yet to even hint that they're the ones behind it. And you have no idea if or when they will.

However, in the very least you have a whole town to explore, and at the start of each day, and the beginning of every night, no matter where you are, you'll suddenly hear a radio crackle to life. Whether this is comforting or unsettling? Well, that's up to you to decide.

Just have a good time and try not think about the letter you got earlier, okay?]

[Venkman's back for the bodega cats again. He's in the candy aisle, himself, petting the black cat who's quickly become one of his favorites when This Guy comes strolling up. He's relatively certain this is one of the other people from the motel, and it's not just because he seems to usually dress like he just stepped out of another century.

Or maybe a vampire coven. Given Venkman's line of work, he's more inclined to expect the latter. Though he doesn't think vampires tend to eat candy.

He and the cat watch Michalis out of the corner of their eyes for a bit- not exactly judging, just curious. Eventually, though, Venkman speaks up.]

Not used to this stuff, are ya?

[An open-ended question that won't automatically debunk either the "different century" OR "vampire" theories.]

On the other, kitty has chosen you, and he doesn't really debate the wisdom of animals. Ugh. Fine.]

Yeah, figured that out myself. The only other people who'd look that excited over a packet of Skittles are people on the brink of starvation, and cavemen.

[The cat makes a little "murr" noise and stands up, walking down the shelf to Michalis. She knocks over a grand total of five bags of candy in the process. No one ever said cats were always graceful.]

[Cat doesn't care about the gauntlets. She just cares about being pet. She headbuts his hand, purring.

Venkman, meanwhile, rolls his eyes a little at the somewhat terse reply.]

Not saying it's a bad thing. Just that this place is probably a huge sensory overload for ya, huh?

...It is. I'm becoming accustomed to it, but it's something of a slow process.

Depending on where and when you're from, it's probably like someone just dragged you kicking and screaming from a dark room and threw you on the dance floor in the middle of a rave.

The grin that slowly spreads on Venkman's face is a bit concerning.]

You know what, there's a night club around here, opens at 8. You go there, you'll find out exactly what a rave is.

Nah. I mean, you might find a few people who're up for that sorta thing at a rave, but it's not the purpose of 'em. Uh, usually.

Fair warning, if you think fluorescent lights and brightly colored candy packets are overwhelming, you might wanna brace yourself before you go strolling in.

Great- and once you go through your first rave, you'll probably be desensitized to literally anything else this world's got to offer.

[Hard to be distressed by a laundromat after that.]
