Week 1 [Day 1-Day 3]

[After a long stressful day like this has been, maybe you want to curl up in bed and try to sleep this whole thing off, or maybe you stay up all night desperately trying to find a way out of this town. Whether it be asking the cops for help, trying to steal a car, or just simply trying to walk out of town, you will unfortunately find your attempts to escape fruitless.

Even with it being obvious something strange is going on, no one has shown their face yet to even hint that they're the ones behind it. And you have no idea if or when they will.

However, in the very least you have a whole town to explore, and at the start of each day, and the beginning of every night, no matter where you are, you'll suddenly hear a radio crackle to life. Whether this is comforting or unsettling? Well, that's up to you to decide.

Just have a good time and try not think about the letter you got earlier, okay?]

[ it's not a name she really goes by these days, but still hers. less heard of her than her code. ]

Standing out is good. Makes you memorable. Who doesn't want to be in the center of attention?

Sure, but one thing. Easier to get around, if you don't have everyone looking at you. Easier to find out what's going on in the world.

[ hm. that's a smart way of looking at it. smart girl. ]

Trying to find things out then are you? Everyone here seems to be too drugged out of their head to actually give straight answers though.

They do. But... Well, did you hear sirens last night? There was a body...one with one of those weird masks...but everyone from the hotel was accounted for. The police were actually paying attention too.

[knifegf]

[ a nod. ]

I didn't... really look. It was too frightening. [ she breathes in and then out, tense. ] The police are paying attention to us is what you're saying.

[rangerslayer]

[ She sympathizes. ]

Maybe. They're at least paying attention to something going on here. And I intend to find out what. Maybe it'll get us out of here, faster.

[knifegf]

[ she breathes in again and grazes her bottom lip with her teeth, contemplating. ]

Do you... think we're bad people, Kimberly?

[rangerslayer]

What? [ No, of course. Because of the call. She hardens. ] I think I can't say for everyone...but some uninvolved jerk trying to judge us isn't right. And I won't stand for it.

[knifegf]

They said we're here for a reason. [ she crosses her arms, huddled and small. ] But I don't really care why. I just want to go home.

[rangerslayer]

Of course. [ She tentatively reaches out a hand, settling it on Oksana’s shoulder. ] Doesn’t matter what they said. I’ll do whatever I can to get you, and all the rest of us, home.

[knifegf]

[ she looks to the hand, a strange feeling inside stirring, then looks to kimberly. her stare is long and quiet and slowly she smiles soft. ]

You are a kind person. Thank you.

[ she likes this one. ]

[ Ah... Well, she looks a bit awkward at that, but. ]
