First Investigation [Night 3]

[Having a good sleep, everyone? Hopefully it wasn't that good because around 3 AM there will be a loud explosion from outside the motel. Even those who sleep like the dead couldn't sleep through that. And if you're thinking of just pretending that you imagined it and going back to sleep, there is also a faint glow, like from a fire outside the motel.

Well that's probably not a good sign.

[There is a pillowcase! It's close to where the rooms are situated. Wanna take a closer look?]

[First of all, the pillowcase is situated between Peter Quill and Ladd Russo's room. It's slightly singed and, perhaps obviously, is filled with lighters.]

[Okay. He'll take note of the names on the doors, though he, uh. Doesn't know who either of those people are. STILL NOTING...

The lighters are to be expected, though he remembers other things as well. Aerosol cans, molotovs, cigarettes. Is that stuff here too, or is it just the lighters?]

Where is it situated, incidentally? Inside the pillowcase like it broke upon being dropped, like it was detonated against something, something else...?]

[It wasn't detonated, and it was dropped kinda around where the other scattered lighters are.]

First, perhaps lets notably, is a blood trail.]

[Ah, that's happy! That's very happy. Presumably that's the same blood trail everyone else has been looking at, leading toward the McDonald's...

...Actually, question about that, just to verify - not like he knows anything about forensics, but he's seen A Lot Of Shit on the battlefield so he'd know the difference, is the blood trail the sort that implies dragging or the sort that falls from a bleeding person moving under their own power?]

[It's the very same blood trail! And from looks alone, it seems like whoever was bleeding was moving through their own power.]

[All right. Obviously it's not possible to discern everything, but apparently this is more "blood falling on ground" and not "somebody dragging a corpse while whistling Dixie." Cool.
