Week 1 [Day 1-Day 3]

[After a long stressful day like this has been, maybe you want to curl up in bed and try to sleep this whole thing off, or maybe you stay up all night desperately trying to find a way out of this town. Whether it be asking the cops for help, trying to steal a car, or just simply trying to walk out of town, you will unfortunately find your attempts to escape fruitless.

Even with it being obvious something strange is going on, no one has shown their face yet to even hint that they're the ones behind it. And you have no idea if or when they will.

However, in the very least you have a whole town to explore, and at the start of each day, and the beginning of every night, no matter where you are, you'll suddenly hear a radio crackle to life. Whether this is comforting or unsettling? Well, that's up to you to decide.

Just have a good time and try not think about the letter you got earlier, okay?]

So anyone in the general vicinity of the gun shop today can probably hear Michalis, being more or less the Worst Customer Service Experience In The Goddamn World; he's apparently decided to try to accomplish something today, god only knows what that something is. Other than looking like a crazy person in front of this employee, I guess, because he's definitely accomplishing that.]

I will not repeat myself again - I have never seen one of these before, and I ask merely to borrow one for the sake of demonstration! This isn't difficult, you insolent-

That...aside, he's seeming pretty content to stay near the motel and sulk after he, you know, was not permitted to be a fucking idiot with a gun; there are things on the ground floor that he didn't really look over. The rec room of all places seems to have his interest for a while, though it isn't so much any one thing in particular as it is the components of one? Namely, he's picking up one of the cues for use with the pool table - turning it over in his hands, tossing it gently and catching it to see how it comes down, toying with it a bit...

Eventually he'll just throw the beanbags onto the couch, move the damn couch out of the way so he has some space, and just start doing simple training rotations with it - wraps and one-handed spinning techniques and basic strikes, and he seems confident enough with it to imply that this isn't just an idle activity. He seems well-trained, though...well, obviously a bit inconsiderate, hopefully no one else was really planning on doing anything in here.]

[Don't worry, Tim's here! And he's staring towards the stranger with a bewildered look, his hands in his pockets. He's not entirely too sure why he's around the shop in the first place- just mindless wandering around, probably.]

You really don't know what they do? If you aim it at something and pull the trigger, a bullet comes out of it. It can do serious damage.

...I doubt they'd hand over a weapon you could easily kill someone by mistake so easily, especially if you don't know how to wield one.

At least he's met people who haven't seen the barrel of a gun in their lives before. Even if it's been some time. ]

Perhaps for bladed weapons and blunt objects, but for firearms, not so much.

The weapons they sell here can easily blow someone's head or limbs clean off if the firepower is great - and even if it weren't, being hit by a bullet is much more difficult to deal with than with let's say an arrow or knife. Even a small gun would have recoil.

Anyone wielding it with no experience is bound to cause an accident, and I doubt that it'd be a small one.

...You make them sound as though they're some sort of...handheld ballistic weaponry? They don't seem large enough to have any sort of power at all, if that's the case.

With the advancement of human technology, it's been made possible for something relatively small to hold enough power to be dangerous. Even if it sounds like it should be impossible.

No. It's a complete technological invention, with no magic involved - it's all just mostly metal and gunpowder, to put it simply.

You know, usually? People use those for recreation. But they're sturdy enough for a few good hits.

These aren't good for anything but keeping my reflexes up. They're too light, they bend too easily. Besides, I'd have to sharpen the end if I personally wanted to get anything out of it.

I use lances, not staffs.

[It's another one of those things that's almost a joke, though it's hard to tell if it is or not. He doesn't have much of a sense of humor, it seems, but occasionally one seems to...try to appear.]

I fight from the air, so archers are a greater threat to me. The possibility of injuring me or my partner is vastly greater when archers are involved. I have a shield that's impenetrable, so it's somewhat less of a worry for me and I can fight on the ground if needs be, but I don't like the idea of them injuring my partner regardless.

So of course you'd be wary of what could actually hit you. So this "partner"... Are you talking about what you ride, or can you fight from the air through some sort of ability?

It would be appreciated, though I doubt these would hold up if we tried anything properly. They're far too light for my liking. You're welcome to go feel it for yourself, there are others over there.

They are. I can use swords and axes if I have to, but I prefer spears over the rest. So these things are useless to me, unless I were to take one and put some work into it.

I primarily use swords. The one I use was passed down through my family.

I've trained with lances as well, and I spent some time learning about other weapons.

I prefer the spears because it's easier to get hits in from the air. If I'm using axes I usually have to modify them so they're more of a halberd; anything else is going to throw me off-balance or risk hitting my partner.
